The golden web - beige

The golden web - beige

This original linocut print was created using two seperately handcarved blocks and printed with black and gold ink on lovely textured paper, handmade from lokta, which is a renewable resource.

This piece is surrounded by an air of mystery and sensuality, and as such is open to various interpratations. Is the woman trapped, perhaps by her sensuality? Or is she the one trapping? Or maybe she feels limited by how the world views and portrays her through her sexuality? What is your inerpretation?
